Elbec have worked with Iconography for a long time - over a decade in fact. Over the years, their eCommerce business has grown consistently, and when it came upgrade to the latest version IXO Commerce, they knew it would be the perfect fit.
Still, we took the time to get things right; we are more interested in results than in a high pressure sales strategy.
Operational efficiency is the name of the game
Over the course of a few months, we really dug into Elbec's internal processes, above and beyond the ordinary features of an eCommerce website, really digging into their purchase ordering and dropshipping processes, as well as their accounts package.
As a result we have a website that is all about operational efficiency. As products are purchased, purchase orders are automatically placed with the supplier for dropship delivery, the customer is informed of their delivery date, and all sales information is entered into Sage INTACCT.
Purchase orders sent direct to the supplier and deliveries sent direct to the customer - everything automated!
