A series of high performing eCommerce websites
We've collabourated with Kingspan on several eCommerce projects now, and we're proud to say that our most recent one has been nominated for an eCommerce award.
The Tanks Direct website has been nominated for 'Best B2B Launch'.
We were one of a number of eCommerce agencies Kingspan were talking to in Spring 2020. The Kingspan team felt initially that Magento 2 was the best platform for them – one of the four sites was based on this platform and the Magento name was familiar to the decision makers. However, they had very little eCommerce experience and were looking to rely heavily on the agency they chose to help them deliver the projects successfully.
As a provider of the most successful of the four sites acquired we were given the opportunity to pitch for the projects and respond to the tender. It was during the detailed pre-sales process that we began to feel that we were in with a chance of winning this significant piece of new business.
Kingspan were asking lots of questions and we were able to respond confidently because we develop on our own platform and knew we had the developer skills, experience and resource to deliver their requirements.
We had an advantage over our main competitor for the projects – as they were less sure of their ground as the complexities of the project began to take shape. They were looking to develop on Magento 2 and they were less responsive and authoritative than us in their answers and began to lose client confidence as a result.

A big reason for us winning the project is our ability to handle compelx, bespoke integrations. Unlike a lot of agencies who make promises, we deliver.
Timescales were tight and we had to organise our resources effectively to meet them. This project was high profile, the client had put their trust in us and we wanted to excel as this was a big opportunity.
We also had to engage with the corporate IT team to explore the integration capability with their new ERP system and what this could deliver. The ERP software was new to Kingspan and they were heavily reliant on our technical and integration experience.
They relied on us to understand the technical documentation and advise on what could be achieved, satisfying ourselves which integration methods were in place and available to us.
We're pleased to report that not only did this integration fulfill their core requirements, but that we were able to add additional value around order exports to give them a truly efficient digital operations platform.
